On August 15th I had the pleasure of having the legendary Sir Rod Stewart in front of my camera. This was my first time seeing Rod Stewart live in concert and it may have been my only chance as he announced previously that his 2023 tour will be the end of his touring life, but that he will not be quitting music altogether.
Musicians that have been in the game as long as Sir Rod Stewart know how to put on a great show. From beautifully dressed backup singers, a harp player, saxophone player, Rod has many other talented musicians on stage with him that add to the show and experience. He had few outfit changes throughout the evening that ranged from leopard print to wearing a yellow blazer with blue jeans to show his support in standing with Ukraine.
Throughout the night he played a few of his hit songs like “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” And “Maggie May”, also some of his cover hits “The First Cut Is The Deepest” (Cat Stevens Cover) and “Some Guys Have All The Luck” (The Persuaders Cover)
