Set It Off @ The Starlite Room - Edmonton - September 20th, 2022 - Photo Gallery + Show Write Up9/26/2022 By: Stephanie Cameron & Peter Seal Set It Off is an incredible band with some truly amazing and talented performers, each bringing something unique to the stage that you can't see anywhere else. Cody captivates the crowd from his first moments on stage. His genuine personality combined with his enthusiasm for performing his music, along with his ability to play unique instruments on stage makes him a phenomenal frontman. Zach's passion shone as he interacted with his fans and bandmates, and Maxx's high energy and charisma were electric. Between the 3 of them, they were able to bring a ton of life to their songs. From start to finish, this band was able to control the crowd with their infectious energy. Whether they're singing lively songs such as Loose Cannon, or soulful ballads like Unopened Windows, Set It Off was effortlessly able to transition between these and carry the audience through the emotions. Between anger from past hurt and heartbreak, the agony and regret of losing loved ones, to hope for the future and being grateful for what you have- Set It Off has an understanding with their audience, and has a poetic way of delivering songs that everyone can relate to. The excitement from the audience and the roar of the crowd was enough in itself to experience how loved this band is. Their ability to interact with their fans and make the audience a part of the show was exceptional. Watching their album come to life on stage through wacky props, costumes, and makeup that only fans will understand is truly an unforgettable time.
