Photos and Write-up by Kristin Breit Photography Saturday nights are for metal and mosh pits. That’s what Avenged Sevenfold brought to the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary over the weekend. Indie-alt artist Kim Dracula and Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire kicked off the night with energetic and lively performances. The American heavy metal band began their set with frontman M. Shadows sitting on a chair in a ski mask that read “We love you” as stunning visuals flooded the stage and screens. Touring their new album “Life Is But A Dream…” Avenged Sevenfold performed new tracks such as “Game Over,” “Mattel,” and “Nobody,” while also playing older hits such as “Bat Country” and “Afterlife.” With explosive guitar solos, pounding drums, and electrifying vocals, the band created a memorable performance paired with their stunning stage designs. It’s a metal show you don’t want to miss! Setlist For Avenged Sevenfold:
