4/27/2026 Lorna Shore w/ Signs of the Swarm & Paleface Swiss @ Edmonton Convention Centre - April 24th, 2026Read NowPhotos by Kylee Thompson Photography Opening the night was Signs of the Swarm out of Pittsburgh, and they didn’t waste any time getting things moving. The pit kicked in early and basically stayed in motion through their set, with a steady wave of people jumping in and out and the floor filling out right away. It set the pace fast and just kept rolling without really letting up. Next up was Paleface Swiss from Switzerland, and the intensity noticeably jumped from there. Their set came in heavier and more aggressive in its flow, and the reaction was immediate. The pit opened wider, movement spread further across the floor, and more people fully committed into it compared to earlier in the night. By the time Lorna Shore from New Jersey came on, the room was already fully primed for what was about to happen. The Edmonton Convention Centre stayed packed and locked in through their entire set. The sound hit with a lot of weight live, with that layered intensity coming through strong across the whole room and filling the space from front to back. One of the most constant parts of the night was the crowd surfing, it never really let up. From start to finish there was always someone going over the barricade, which kept the motion in the room nonstop and added to how relentless the whole set felt. The Pain Remains songs came across really strong live, and the crowd stayed into it the whole time. The energy never really dropped, it just stayed consistent through it all. By the end, it felt like one continuous build of energy from start to finish of the show, with the crowd and bands essentially feeding off each other the entire time. What a hell of a night! The below-freezing temperatures and relentless snowfall in the Heart of Downtown were no match for the Igloofest fans. Edmontonians poured into the Fan Park to watch Kosmix, Nikki Nair, and Disclosure take the National Bank Stage and put on an electrifying show in the wintery weather of an Edmonton March. The crowd was full of energy all night long, huddling and dancing together to stay warm, becoming one with the music. Audible gasps, joyful screams, and a feeling of togetherness were felt throughout the sets as fans heard popular songs from Disclosure, like “She’s Gone, Dance On” and, most notably, “Latch” featuring Sam Smith. The festival proved a success, offering an unforgettable weekend in the Ice District, as Igloofest looks to expand to Western Canada. Here are the photos from the recent show in Edmonton! Festival goers lined up outside the Fan Park in the Ice District at 7:00 pm, eager to head inside the festival grounds and hear music from their favourite DJs on opening night. With a “Party Animal” festival theme and overall igloo winter vibes, the crowd did not disappoint. They came dressed in all kinds of costumes and outfits, from Après-Ski to Pyjama party, including many ski goggles, fur toques, and snuggy-style hoodies. The temperature was below zero, but that did not stop the crowd from partying, dancing, headbanging, and enjoying sets from Ha Ha and Titus1, ahead of the highly anticipated headliner, Alison Wonderland. Alison Wonderland took the National Bank stage from 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm, performing tracks like “Everything Comes In Waves” and “XTC” from her latest album GHOSTWORLD. The Electronic Dance Music (EDM) community in Edmonton showed up and showed out, bringing the heat all night long. Here are photos from the recent show in Edmonton! Here are her Photos! Orbit CultureMegadeth played Rogers Place on February 21 as part of their 2026 Canadian tour, with Anthrax and Exodus opening. Exodus started the night with material mostly drawn from their early catalog, including “Bonded by Blood” and “The Toxic Waltz,” keeping the focus on classic-era songs. Anthrax followed with tracks such as “Caught in a Mosh” and “Indians,” along with other songs from Among the Living and late-1980s releases that are common in their live shows. Megadeth closed the night with an 18-song headline set covering multiple periods of their discography. The performance included “Hangar 18,” “Symphony of Destruction,” “Peace Sells,” “Tornado of Souls,” and ended with “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due.” A large portion of the set came from Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction, along with later material. It was also nice to see VIP guests watching from side stage during the show. It’s a pretty cool way for fans to get a different experience and be closer to the performance. The Edmonton performance was one stop on Megadeth’s 2026 Canadian tour run with Anthrax and Exodus. MegadethAnthraxExodusPhotos by Katherine Colwell
