The Fray have announced the Summer of Light Tour, a North American run scheduled for May through August 2026. The tour will feature support from Dashboard Confessional, Colony House, The Strumbellas, and Brother Elsey on select dates.
The tour begins May 11 in Moncton, New Brunswick, marking the start of a Canadian leg that includes stops in Montreal, London (ON), Ottawa, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto. The U.S. portion of the tour follows in July, with scheduled dates across the Midwest, West Coast, South, and Northeast, concluding August 29 in Chicago, Illinois. The tour supports The Fray’s upcoming studio album, A Light That Waits, scheduled for release March 13, 2026. The album contains 11 tracks and is produced by The Fray, Jason Suwito, and Ryan Linvill. The title track, “A Light That Waits,” has been released ahead of the album and was written by Joe King, Ben Wysocki, Dave Welsh, and Jason Suwito.
