Photos and Write by JPSR Photography The CultThe 84/24 tour hit the River Cree on Sunday. From the first notes, the crowd was on its feet and stayed there the entire show. After 40 years and 11 albums, lead singer Ian Astbury’s voice has stood up well. The band played all the favourites and sounded fantastic. All the hits, Wild Flower, She Sells Sanctuary, Billy Duffy’s trademark riffs, all made for a tambourine flying night of fun. PatriarchyTwo piece Industrial snuff band out of LA Patriarchy opened the show forThe Cult Sunday at
The River Cree. Their performance was dramatic, intense and raw. The set portrayed a love/hate relationship between Actually Huizenga and Andrew Means in a provocative and unsettling performance.
