Rockin' Thunder 2026 Day 2

The second and final day of Rockin' Thunder 2026 brought another packed lineup to Edmonton, closing out the festival with a mix of Canadian talent, hard rock veterans, and one of the most anticipated reunions in rock.

Opening the main stage, CHILIØ had the opportunity to introduce festivalgoers to their energetic sound, setting the tone for the day and representing the next wave of Canadian rock talent.

Paul Langlois followed with a performance that reflected his decades-long career in Canadian music. Best known as the longtime guitarist of The Tragically Hip, Langlois continues to connect with audiences through his own work while carrying forward a legacy that has become an important part of Canada's musical identity.

Bringing a heavier edge to the afternoon, Buckcherry returned to the stage with the straight-ahead hard rock sound that has defined the band for more than two decades. Known for their high-energy approach and unmistakable attitude, they remain a favourite among fans of classic hard rock.

Mammoth, led by Wolfgang Van Halen, showcased why the project has quickly earned respect in its own right. Blending modern hard rock with memorable songwriting and impressive musicianship, Mammoth continues to establish its own identity while introducing a new generation of fans to Wolfgang's talents as a songwriter and performer.

Closing out Rockin' Thunder 2026 was Creed, whose return to the stage has been one of rock's biggest stories in recent years. With a catalogue filled with songs that helped define the late '90s and early 2000s, the band provided a fitting conclusion to a weekend that celebrated multiple generations of rock music.

From emerging artists to established names, Day 2 brought the festival to a memorable close. Together, both days of Rockin' Thunder 2026 highlighted the diversity of today's rock scene while reminding fans why live music continues to bring people together year after year.
