Photos by Kylee Thompson Photography Creed’s return to Edmonton on August 19 brought Rogers Place alive with a blend of anticipation and nostalgia. Their set flowed effortlessly, weaving together their biggest hits and deeper album cuts in a way that showcased both the band’s raw power and musical depth. Scott Stapp’s vocals carried a mix of grit and emotion that resonated through the arena, while Mark Tremonti’s guitar work added precision, fire, and texture to every track. The night began with two strong openers that set the bar high. Mammoth WVH delivered a polished, modern rock performance led by Wolfgang Van Halen’s heartfelt vocals and skilled guitar playing. Big Wreck followed with their trademark mix of soaring melodies and heavy riffs, reminding the crowd why their music has stood the test of time. When Creed launched into their most well-loved anthems, the audience erupted in song, matching the band’s energy from start to finish. The setlist moved seamlessly between hard-hitting rockers and more reflective moments, creating a show that felt both familiar and revitalized. By the time the final notes faded, it was clear this night wasn’t just about revisiting the past, it proved that Creed’s music continues to strike a powerful chord with fans old and new.
