Photos and Review by JPSR Photography Outlaw Country took over Rogers Place for the first of two sold out shows on his Beautifully Broken tour. The spiritual revival started with a slow walk through the crowd to a platform stage. As he sang his hit I Am Not Okay, a fire frame lowered from above to surround him. The crowd was enthralled by his presence, giving his sermon as rock n roll survivor of addiction and reborn in house of flames. On the main stage, fittingly set in a sea of red and towering flames, the song Halfway to Hell kept the crowd on their feet. Jelly Roll’s set seems to be a homage to his roots with his outlaw country spiced with hip hop and rock influences. Looking through the fans, old and young, there is a diversity of people united through their experiences. I saw a lot of tears, signs sharing sobriety and everyone was singing along. The opening acts, Savannah Dexter, Josh Ross and AMW DJ Chill entertained and fit in well with the unique crowd. Jelly Roll
